Yes it's true -- Oddhobby was at this year's Duckon.  But, I suppose you're more interested in Mr. Beaulieu's appearance.  Fine.

So what is Duckon?  It's kinda like a Trekie convention, but the main focus is on fantasy and sci-fi in general.  It's an event for the whole family.  However, Duckon is more than just role-playing:

"DucKon is an activity and fund raiser for Super-Con-Duck-Tivity, a non-profit organization under 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code."  You can read about their history on their site.

Oddhobby was proud to donate odd video tapes, a model of a Klingon Bird of Prey (1/650 scale, AMT) and Candy!

I'm going to write as much as I can, and post it as fast as I can, but we really need to get more volunteer Duckon reporters.  Interested?  Read page 33 of your Duckon guide.

Speaking of the Duckon guide, it was a real hoot!  Or perhaps hooter is more to the point.  One of the many topics of the post-con debriefing was the naked breasted nymph on the cover of this year's guide.  I'm hanging on to mine, it'll be worth big money some day!  (and the guide might  be worth something too!)

Did you attend this year? Send in your review, with or without boobie pictures:

Finally, images from Duckon.  Those of you who promised to send in pictures... if you keep your promise, you'll get your choice of sweet trinkets at the next Duckon!
